APA References: ERIC documents

First check if the source can be found online outside of the ERIC database. If so, follow the regular APA rules for articles and documents.  

If the source is only located in ERIC, follow this format (and don't forget to double space):

Author, A. A. (year of publication). Title of document. Retrieved from ERIC database. (ERIC document number)

The ERIC document number will look something like this: ED123456
