Session Goals

After Session 1:

You will be able to . . .

  • Navigate the library's resources and tools.
  • Select appropriate search systems for your topic and/or assignment.
  • Evaluate sources and their information by examining their purpose, authority, currency, objectivity, coverage, accuracy, and relevance.
  • Use OneSearch and individual databases to find relevant sources.

After Session 2:

You will be able to . . .

  • Generate appropriate terms to use in your searches.
  • Utilize appropriate terms to locate relevant articles for your project
  • Be able to identify one subject specific database that will useful for your topic.
