Digital resources and help are still available

The library is still available to support current CU students and faculty with digital services during COVID-19.

Get help from a librarian

Librarians are available to answer questions and provide research support through June 26, 2020.

Get help from the Graduate Writing Center

Concordia University-Portland's Graduate Writing Center (GWC) is here to help master's and doctoral students with writing issues. Please read the information on the GWC Policies and Services page to find out how the writing consultants can help you improve your craft as a writer.

The GWC offers three kinds of 50 minute appointments; online/web (video conference), phone-in, and email document review. Our consultants do not provide editing or line-by-line proofreading services. Please see our Policies to learn more about how our consultants can help you improve your writing.

Make Appointment

In your appointment request, please include: 

  • your paper or writing sample in Microsoft Word format 
  • your assignment instructions and rubric
  • any feedback you may have received from your instructor

Many of the library's resources are available via online access. To locate resources:

Get answers using research guides and FAQs

  • The library has many research guides available to help you
  • Check our FAQs for answers to some of our frequently asked questions

Returning physical items

  • The library will not charge fines for items as long as they are returned to the library once it is safe to do so
  • Items will not be checked in until it is safe for staff to return to the library per guidance of the university and the State of Oregon
  • You may return items to the book drop on the North side of GRW when it is safe to do so
