You will be able to . . .

  • Will be able to brainstorm and discover search terms in order to find information about your topic.
  • Will develop list of terms based on your topic in order to search sources databases effectively, efficiently, with confidence.
  • Make connections between the importance of matching information needs and search strategies to appropriate search tools.

Session Goals Spring

By the end of this library session:

  • Determine what the best type of source is for your topic and research needs. 
  • Locate at least one useable source for the internet AND one useable source from the libraries resources on your topic.
  • Describe why the source is relevant and valuable information for the your paper.
